AVAIL to Host Signature AEC Technology Leadership Event October 9-11, 2025

Confluence Lexington 2025

LEXINGTON, Kentucky, July 9, 2025 - Software company AVAIL – which creates content management system (CMS) solutions for the global architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry – will host its signature professional development event Confluence Lexington 2025 in Lexington, Kentucky October 9, 10, and 11, 2025.

Confluence is a series of professional development events that bring design technology and product management leaders from across the AEC industry together in collaborative discourse.

The three-day Confluence Lexington event is invite-only, and its limited guest list includes the most influential technology leaders in the AEC industry. Past Confluence Lexington attendees have represented top firms like Thornton Tomasetti, IMEG, Perkins&Will, LPA Design Studios, HDR, Cooper Carry, and EUA, and technology partners such as Dell Technologies, Enscape, Epic Games, Egnyte, Amazon, and NVIDIA. All Confluence Lexington programming and events are included, free-of-charge, for practitioner guests.

Confluence Lexington 2025 programming will explore the theme AEC Platforms: Elevating the Dialog. Within AEC firms, technology platforms all too often exist as disparate silos of information. Confluence Lexington 2025 participants will discuss how firms can increase the dialog between various platforms, reducing redundancy and bringing the silos together in new ways.

To get an idea of the programming for the upcoming October event, see the recap blog from Confluence Lexington 2024, “AI and ML in the Next 12 to 18 Months: How AEC Firms Can Get Ahead.”

“I'm a fan of smaller, focused events that promote connections and relationship building,” Director of Technology at Olson Kundig Kenton Grant said when asked what he appreciated most about the Confluence Lexington 2024 event. Grant found it easier to meet and get to know fellow attendees in a setting like Confluence and believes having a single theme provides more organic conversation opportunities.

Confluence’s programming structure is deliberately designed to foster conversations between guests, so they can learn, share, and engage with each other to support AEC innovation.

Confluence host and AVAIL CEO and Founder Randall Stevens calls the activities in between sessions “white space” and purposefully schedules white space opportunities into Confluence programming for guests to engage in conversations around the program topics with their industry colleagues.

“I claim the time on the bus between the social events is probably the most important part of Confluence,” Stevens said. “The planned programming sets a backdrop for the real magic which are those deeper conversations with peers. I know it’s working when the bus is filled with chatter!”

White space opportunities for Confluence Lexington 2025 will include the Fall Meet at world-renowned horse-racing facility Keeneland, options to explore the bourbon trail or the world-famous Red River Gorge, as well as other social activities.

Unique to Confluence Lexington, guests’ plus ones are not only invited but encouraged to join the events in Lexington and engage in a special plus-one itinerary.
