LEXINGTON, Kentucky, February 26, 2025 - Software company AVAIL – which creates content management system (CMS) solutions for the global architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry – will host a single-day professional development event Confluence San Francisco 2025 in San Francisco, California on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Confluence is a series of professional development events that bring design technology practice management and software technology product management from across the AEC industry together in collaborative discourse.
The single-day Confluence San Francisco 2025 event is open to all AEC industry technology leaders. Past Confluence attendees have represented leading firms like Perkins&Will, AECOM, LPA Design Studios, HDR, Cooper Carry, EUA, and Parsons and technology providers such as Chaos, Epic Games, Egnyte, Amazon, and NVIDIA. Tickets for Confluence San Francisco 2025 can be purchased on Eventbrite.
Confluence Lexington 2024 brought 50 of the AEC industry’s most innovative technology leaders together in Lexington, Kentucky to discuss Progress in AI and ML: A Year Later.
AVAIL started to organize single-day regional events following the success of its signature, three-day event Confluence Lexington in the fall. The first single-day Confluence event took place in Southern California in 2023, followed by New York City in 2024.
“We’re pleased to head back to the West Coast,” Confluence host and AVAIL CEO and Founder Randall Stevens said. “The San Francisco Bay area is home to many leading design and engineering firms who we seek to serve through these events. Confluence San Francisco 2025 will bring together technology leaders to discuss industry-specific advances in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning.”
For both one-day and three-day events, Confluence’s programming structure is deliberately designed to foster conversations between participants, so they can learn, share, and engage with each other to support industry innovation. To get an idea of the programming for Confluence San Francisco and discover more about the learning sessions at Confluence Lexington, see AVAIL’s blog AI and ML in the Next 12 to 18 Months: How AEC Firms Can Get Ahead.
The second single-day Confluence event hosted by AVAIL, Confluence New York 2024 took place in Brooklyn and explored The Realities of AI and ML with speakers from Woods Bagot, Perkins&Will, SHoP Architects, and Thornton Tomesseti.
“I'm a fan of smaller, focused events that promote connections and relationship building,” Director of Technology at Olson Kundig Kenton Grant said when asked what he appreciated most about the Confluence Lexington 2024 event. Kenton found it easier to meet and get to know fellow attendees in a setting like Confluence and believes having a single theme like Progress in AI and ML provides more organic conversation opportunities.
