The first single-day Confluence event took place in Southern California in 2023, followed by New York City in 2024. “We’re pleased to head back to the West Coast,” Confluence host and AVAIL CEO and Founder Randall Stevens said. “The San Francisco Bay area is home to many leading design and engineering firms who we seek to serve through these events. Confluence San Francisco 2025 will bring together technology leaders to discuss industry-specific advances in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning.” For both one-day and three-day events, Confluence’s programming structure is deliberately designed to foster conversations between participants, so they can learn, share, and engage with each other to support industry innovation. Kenton found it easier to meet and get to know fellow attendees in a setting like Confluence and believes having a single theme like Progress in AI and ML provides more organic conversation opportunities.
