When deciding how to organize digital assets in AVAIL’s content management system (CMS), consider including Channel Cards and Key Cards in your strategy. These cards help BIM managers create a visual interface that reflects their firm’s specific needs and culture.
Channel Cards are 16:9 cards that are added to the content containers in AVAIL—known as Channels—to assist in visual navigation. Likewise, Key Cards are 16:9 cards that are added to AVAIL tags to also assist AVAIL library searches.

New Channel Card and Key Card Templates in AVAIL
When it comes to content organization strategies using Channel Cards and Key Cards, AVAIL has studied the most successful card designs and determined the essential elements that have worked for countless AEC industry firms.
At the beginning of 2025, we combined those essential elements with new design pizzazz to produce two Channel Card templates and three Key Card templates for AVAIL Publishers to download and start using in their firm’s AVAIL environment.
If your firm is just getting started in AVAIL’s CMS, we recommend you start organizing your digital assets with these templates first, then go back and customize your Channel Cards and Key Cards further as your team can offer feedback.
Depending on your firm’s content management needs, there can be a lot of work ahead of your BIM team to move your library into AVAIL. These templates include proven elements and organizational strategies, so your firm can jump-start visual organization in AVAIL without having to reinvent the wheel.

- In the AVAIL Desktop, switch from "Channels" in the top left corner to "Marketplace"
- Subscribe to "AVAIL | Installers + Publisher Resources" Channel
- Go back to "Channels" in the top left corner
- Open "AVAIL | Installers + Publisher Resources" Channel
- Download favorite templates
