Looking Ahead: 2025 and Beyond
Here are two major initiatives guiding AVAIL’s product development into the new year..
Harvest 3.0
It’s all in the details! We’re working on an update to our popular Harvest for Revit feature. Harvest 3.0 will be tightly integrated with Project Navigator providing improved navigation of your host container libraries and warehouse files. We’re also working on adding an advanced “notification system” that will allow you to alert users when content in their projects may be impacted by library updates
Introducing Workspaces
After years on our roadmap, Workspaces are coming in 2025! A Workspace in AVAIL will help define project context—things like building type, project team members, and other key data. With these contextual cues, AVAIL will be able to deliver just-in-time information even more efficiently. We’re excited about leveraging AI and machine learning to serve up the content you need exactly when you need it.
Confluence 2024: Our Education Initiative
Composed of in-person events and a podcast hosted in partnership with TRXL Director Evan Troxel, Confluence is designed to foster conversations between AEC industry practitioner and technology partner leaders, so they can learn, share, and engage with each other to support industry innovation. In 2024, we hosted a one-day event in New York, as well as our signature, invite-only, three-day event in Lexington.
Confluence New York 2024
Hosted at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, April’s one-day event extended the conversation around “The Realities of AI and ML” from the previous Confluence Lexington discussion. Presenters from SHoP Architects, Thornton Tomasetti, Perkins&Will, Woods Bagot, and Chaos shared insights into cutting-edge technologies shaping design and engineering.
