At AVAIL, we are committed to making your work life easier and more efficient. Our development team has been listening to customer feedback and working hard to develop tools that streamline AEC industry workflows.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce our latest innovation: the AVAIL Help Chatbot.
Powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and AVAIL’s Help Center documentation, Help Chatbot lives in the AVAIL Desktop platform and is here to answer your AVAIL questions in real time.
This intelligent assistant is the first of what we imagine to be many more AVAIL custom chatbots that will make it easier for AEC professionals to find the information they need, faster than ever.
Access the Help Chatbot in AVAIL 5.0
To access the new Help Chatbot, you must first download AVAIL 5.0, currently available to customers as a Preview Release.
To utilize the Help Chatbot feature, simply select the question mark icon at the top right of your AVAIL Desktop screen, and the AVAIL Help Chatbot window will appear. Ask the Help Chatbot anything about AVAIL and receive immediate, accurate answers.
The Help Chatbot is an AVAIL Desktop feature available in AVAIL version 5.0.

Whether you’re a seasoned AVAIL user or just getting started, the Help Chatbot makes it even easier to educate yourself on AVAIL features or problem solve issues. Plus, it offers assistance whenever you need it, directly in AVAIL Desktop.
Publisher use cases:
AVAIL reminders. Have you forgotten how to add a Key Card or manage tags since the last time you did it in AVAIL? Ask the Help Chatbot:- “How do I add a Key Card?”
- “How do I add and remove tags from multiple pieces of content simultaneously in AVAIL?”
- Azure SSO: A common error in AVAIL is when Azure SSO finds multiple matching tokens for a user. This happens when something like a name change has occurred. Simply paste the error in the Help Chatbot and immediately receive resolution steps.
- Something doesn’t happen as expected: Typing “I indexed families, but don’t see them” in the Help Chatbot will yield possible causes and solutions.
