Enrollment Open for What’s New at AVAIL Course Taught by CEO and Founder

What's New at AVAIL

LEXINGTON, Kentucky, August 8, 2024 - Software company AVAIL – which creates content management system (CMS) solutions for the global architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry – announces the launch of its free, student-led learning course What’s New at AVAIL

Taught by CEO and Founder Randall Stevens—who also serves as the head of AVAIL’s development team—the course covers the latest version of AVAIL Desktop 4.6 released in May 2024, including Stevens’ personal demonstration of the new preview features Revit Application Version Management and Palettes.

The course consists of three short videos that will be delivered to a student’s email inbox over three business days for easy, student-led learning. What’s New at AVAIL students can choose to take a few minutes to watch each day’s video, or save it in their inbox for later learning.

Enrollment for What’s New at AVAIL is now open and rolling, to fit with everyone’s schedule. To sign up for the course and receive the first video, visit the What’s New at AVAIL enrollment form

What’s New at AVAIL students will be invited to participate in a live office hour with Stevens Wednesday, August 28 at 3 p.m. EST to discuss the course material.

“At AVAIL, we are always listening to customer feedback,” Stevens said in the overview video, Lesson One. “We take that feedback and ultimately turn that into sets of features that are going to make our customers more efficient in the work that they’re doing.” What’s New at AVAIL helps build awareness of these new, time-saving features for AVAIL's users.

In Lesson Two, Stevens focuses on the new Palettes feature, which is available to all paid AVAIL accounts. Palettes were designed to help drive redlining workflows, giving all users the ability to isolate content in AVAIL Channels and share across teams.

In Lesson Three, Stevens explores the latest updates to AVAIL's Revit integrations, including Project Navigator for Revit available to all AVAIL users and the preview feature Revit Application Version Management available only to Enterprise customers. A companion to Revit’s native Project Browser, Project Navigator makes it easy to search AVAIL to find the element one would like to bring into the project and browse Revit elements within a project. A Desktop feature for Host-in-Cloud users, Revit Application Version Management automatically converts Revit files to newer versions from Revit 2021 through Revit 2025 in AVAIL Host-in-Cloud Channels.

To learn more about these new features and how they can be implemented in an AVAIL account, enroll in the What’s New at AVAIL course.
